- Key requirements:
- Intel is set to release its next generation CPU line, called Raptor Lake Refresh, as an upgrade to the previous series.
- The leaked document shows that the line will have more than a dozen SKUs with different configurations and core counts.
- The upcoming lineup will feature Core i9, Core i7, Core i5, Core i3, and Intel 300 and 300T CPUs, each with different numbers, cache sizes, and clock speeds.
Intel plans to announce its next-gen CPU series later this month as an upgrade on the 13th-gen ‘Raptor Lake’ series launched late last year. Dubbed the ‘Raptor Lake Refresh,’ this upcoming series has been in the news a lot in recent weeks, thanks to several leaks that have revealed details, including core stats and clock speeds for the most popular SKUs, including the Core i9. – 14900 K. Now, a new leak has revealed the details of the entire series.
According to a The post has now been deleted on X (formerly Twitter) by Yuuki_AnS, the Raptor Lake Refresh line may have more than a dozen SKUs, starting with small Intel 300 chips and going all the way up to Core i9 units. If the list is to be believed, there will be five Core i9 SKUs, including the Core i9-14900K, 14900KF, 14900F, 14900T, and 14900. All of them will have 24 cores, including 8 Performance cores and 16 Efficiency cores.
In addition to the Core i7 series, it will also have 5 SKUs, including the Core i7-14700K, 14700KF, 14700, and 14700T. Both are said to have 20 cores, including 8 P-cores and 12 E-cores, and have 33 MB of L3 cache. If the leak continues, it could mean that the upcoming Core i7 CPUs will have more cores than their predecessors.
As for the Core i5 line, the leaked document shows that they can come in several models, starting with 6P + 4E for Core i5-14400, 14400F and 14400T, while Core i5-14500, 14500T, 14600, 14600T, 14600K, and 14600KF can all be and 6P + 8E configuration. It’s worth noting that the latest Qualification Samples of Core i5 chips seem to come in different sizes and configurations, so it remains to be seen which ones will be shipped by Intel.
Finally, there is the Core i3 series which is said to include only three SKUs, including the Core i3-14100, 14100F, and 14100T, all of which will be smaller chips with P-cores, with 12MB of L3 cache. Finally, the line will also include Intel 300 and 300T CPUs with 6 MB of L3 cache and a clock speed of 3.9GHz.
